Comprehensive Win For LA Graduate FASTER MORE

LA Graduate FASTER MORE

LA reared Faster More (Thorn Park-Sharvasti by Montjeu ), opened his winning account in style in Hong Kong last Tuesday. Aided by the application of a hood and a tongue tie, the 3YO, bought from our 2012 Karaka Premier draft by the Hong Kong Jockey Club for $350,000, raced away over the final stages of the 1600m event for a comprehensive two and a half length win.

Faster More has an unraced 2YO half brother by Mastercraftsman called Karigara, whom we’ve retained a share in, showing good potential from the Hawkes stable in Sydney. A Group 1 winner herself, Sharvasti has a weanling Savabeel colt who will head to Sydney Easter next year.

LA had an association with another impressive Hong Kong winner, this time in the form of Sun Pins (Pins-Laebeel by Zabeel) who came from well back on the turn to score by one and a half lengths in a 1400m event on Sunday. The LA bred was bought from Lyndhurst Farm’s draft at the 2011 Karaka Ready to Run Sale.

Towkay 3YO Grand Reward (Towkay-Tereshkina by Red Ransom) recorded his second Australian success with his win over 1200m in Western Australia last week.

Nadeem filly Saclaye (Nadeem-La Guichet by Al Hareb) who won a 2050m event in Victoria on Sunday by nearly four lengths is line bred to the wonderful matron Best in Show. Check out Nadeem’s profile on the website for more detail on this successful cross. http://www.lastud.co.nz/stallions/nadeem/about
