Sand Zabeel’s (Poet’s Voice-Samira Gala by Gold Away) win in Group 2 Oaks d ‘Italia, which came on the same day as Poeta Diletto’s (Poet’s Voice-Mia Diletta by Selkirk)win in the Group 3 1600m Premio Carlo Vittadini, gave the prematurely deceased sire a classic double after siring the winner of the Group 2 Derby Italiano last month.
