A week that started with Per Sempre's win last Sunday at Flemington concluded with the 1500m Group 3 Sandown Stakes success by the LA bred Evaporate (Per Incanto-Savana by Animal Kingdom) at Sandown on Saturday.
Evaporate's win, his third black type success, took the four year olds record to six victories and five minor placings from 16 career starts, for stake earnings of $1.57 million.
Evaporate was a $330k purchase by Lindsay Park from the Sledmere Stud draft at the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Evaporate was the 8th individual winner in Australia for the week, which included three city victories.
