Per Incanto's High Standards

Even by Per Incanto's exceptionally high standards, the last week over the Tasman has been special, with the stallion producing a host of winners, starting last Sunday at Flemington, as well as another Melbourne winner who has a full brother heading to the upcoming NZB Ready to Run Sale.

They don't come much more consistent than Per Sempre (Per Incanto-Confidante by Conatus). The 6YO mare who had put together a hat-trick of wins through July and August, gave her delighted trainer Charles Cassar his first win at Flemington when the mare was successful over 1100m.

On Tuesday, the LA bred mare Per Ivy (Per Incanto – Ivy Hall by Towkay) recorded her fifth career victory when she won over 1017 m at Moe. On the same card, another LA bred, the 3YO filly Kiwi Raider (Per Incanto – Anaween by More Than Ready) broke her maiden at just her 2nd career start when successful over the same trip.

The following day, at Sandown, the LA bred 4YO mare Enchanted Jenni (Per Incanto – Kechika by More Than Ready) built on a third and two second placings at her last three starts to score most impressively over 1600m for rider Blake Shinn and Blake's partner, trainer Lucy Yeomans. Enchanted Jenni, who is owned by Tony and Lynn Ottobre, has a full brother offered by Riversley Park as Lot 406 at the RTR sale on 12 and 13 November.

The Trelawney bred Twin Island and the Ardsley Stud bred Vendemmia were other winners for Per Incanto in Australia over the last week, and it's only Thursday!
