Group 3 Second Adds Interest In Sydney Easter Yearling

Nadeem mare Sharnee Rose (Nadeem-Farasha by Jeune) added to her impressive black-type record with a second place finish in the Group 3 ATC Wiggle Stakes in Sydney on Saturday, and in doing so created more interest in her yearling half brother by Makfi who sells as part of our draft at the Sydney Easter Yearling Sale on 8-10 April.

A dual group winner last spring in Sydney, five-year-old Sharnee Rose is looking like a major player in upcoming Group 1 races the Coolmore Stud Classic and Queen of the Turf Stakes.

Haiti (Nadeem-Ancelin by Sadlers Wells ) won over 2100m in Victoria on Saturday.

Last weekend’s Group 3 Little Avondale Lowland Stakes winner Miss Selby (O’Reilly – Singing Star by Danasinga) was a most fitting winner of the race named in honour of the high class Te Parae bred racemare. Singing Star the dam of Miss Selby is a half sister to Yeah Nah, the dam of the dual LA bred Group 1 winning Towkay mare Viadana.

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop. I’ll see a foal at LA and Sam or Buzz will tell me how they expect it to develop. I’ll see it during my Karaka inspections 12 months later, and you could blow me over with a feather
