LA Bred Reels Off Three City Wins In Succession

Shotover River (Savabeel-Rivertaine by Centaine) took his stake earnings to just shy of Aus $300,000 with his latest win on Saturday at Doomben over 2200m, his third consecutive city win.

Bred by LA and prepared and sold by Lyndhurst Farm at the 2010 Karaka Ready To Run Two-Year-old Sale, at $85,000 Shotover River is another fine example of the value found at Australasia’s premier source of horses in training.

Lyndhurst will present on our behalf another quality draft at this year’s NZB Ready To Run Two-Year-old Sale on 18 and 19 November. The draft looks set to comprise:

-          O’Reilly colt from the Zabeel mare Kumari

-          Nadeem colt from the Zabeel mare Kurabeel

-          Nadeem half brother to Australian Group 2 winner Savvy Nature

-          Nadeem colt from a Rorys Jester mare which is the same cross as Spanish Bay, a Group 2 winner in Singapore this season as a three-year-old

The LA bred Magnum (Per Incanto-Sound Lover by Sound Reason) made his long awaited debut on Sunday, in Singapore over 1200m. Giving away raceday experience to the winner, Magnum raced a little greenly but ran a credible second with three lengths back to the third place-getter.

Two exceptional young people putting a lot into racing and other important things outside racing
