Lightly raced Hastings sprinter Satu Lagi (Per Incanto-La Singa by Danasinga) became Per Incanto’s 30th stakes performer with his third placing in the 1200m Listed Fasttrack Insurance Levin Stakes on Friday at Otaki.
In a unique finish the Patrick Campbell bred, owned and trained 4YO dead heated with two others, including Christopher and Susanna Grace’s mare Sweepstake (Per Incanto-Lottery by Carnegie).
Speaking of 30, Per Incanto’s 30th individual winner for the season came courtesy of the mare Trendy Belt (Per Incanto-Snip Ya Belt by Pins) who scored a well deserved victory at Wanganui over 1340m. Per Incanto is leading the New Zealand premiership for number of winners.
