LA’s draft of four yearlings were well received by buyers at this week’s Inglis Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney.
Leading Victorian trainers David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig purchased the strongly made Savabeel colt from stakes winning Pins mare Shandream for 320k, while China Horse Club secured The I Am Invincible filly from Dora ‘N’Boots, presented on behalf of Wellingtonian David Wallace, for 300k.
On the back of some outstanding recent Australian results, interest was understandably high in the sole Per Incanto yearling (pictured) in the catalogue, with the Princess Annaliese colt finally knocked down to Scone Bloodstock and Rick Worthington for 220k. The new owners will be very happy as Annalysium ,the 3YO half sister by Darci Brahma, won yesterday by 2.5 lengths at just her third start for trainer Daniel Bowman in Victoria.
And the Shooting To Win – Bellabaci filly perhaps finds herself with a return plane ticket after her purchase by NZ based agent Michael Otto for 200k, the equal top price for the 14 Shooting To Win yearlings presented this week.
