Little Avondale stallion Per Incanto, who just last week added two new stakes winners and a new stakes performer, will stand for an unchanged service fee in 2018 of $15,000 plus GST, with a live foal guarantee.
The accolades have flowed for the son of Street Cry since his first crop hit the racetracks in 2014/15. Led by Group 1 winner Dal Cielo, Per Incanto’s stock have shown a propensity to train on and compete at the highest level of Australasian and Asian racing.
Group 2 winner Shadow’s Cast, Group 3 winner Dolcetto, dual Australian stakes winner Lanciato, and Listed winners Amanaat (Australia) and Magnum are new black-type winners for Per Incanto in 2017/18.
It’s these results on the track which have translated to impressive sale ring performances in 2018. He finished Karaka Book 1 as the third leading NZ sire with nine sold for a $160k average, top NZ sire on average at Sydney Classic and his sole entry at Sydney Easter sold for $220k on Wednesday.
With rising two-year-olds from his first crop of mares served at $15,000 and the likes of Lanciato, Dolcetto, Morethanlucky (3rd 2018 Group 1 Hong Kong Classic Mile), Don Carlo and Amanaat set to represent him in 2018/19, Per Incanto represents outstanding value for breeders.
