Little Brose Momentum Continues

The news just gets better for LA’s exciting new sire Little Brose (Per Incanto – Mohegan Sky by Straight Man).

Last week saw the first two mares served by Little Brose scanned in foal, while Wednesday saw a most impressive win by filly from the female family of the Group 1 Blue Diamond stakeswinner.

Serinda (Brutal-Absolut Glam by Snowland), a $250,000 purchase from last year’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, franked a third placing on debut back in May with an impressive win under jockey Craig Williams at Bendigo over 1100m.

A Group 1 winner in her own right, Absolut Glam has already left a stakeswinner and a Group 1 placed filly in South Africa.

Of course, last weeks pedigree upgrade comes on the back of the recent Australian two-year-old stakes success of Matahga, whose dam is a half-sister to Little Brose.

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop. I’ll see a foal at LA and Sam or Buzz will tell me how they expect it to develop. I’ll see it during my Karaka inspections 12 months later, and you could blow me over with a feather
