The LA bred Excellent Beauty (No Excuse Needed-Chatto Creek) took her stake earnings in excess of AUS $150,000 with her latest Singaporean success. Purchased from our 2008 Karaka Premier Sale draft the mare’s grand dam Rivertaine is due to foal to Per Incanto this spring.
Za Brute (Towkay-Lady of The Lake) franked some very consistent lead-up from to win over 1650m at Waverley last week.
Towkay also had a winner overseas last week in the form of Secret Gathering (Towkay-Germardi) who won over 1050m in Macau. The four-year-old raced in New Zealand last year as Semiprecious and was successful at Riccarton and placed on the same course from just three starts before his sale to Macau.
