NZ Connection to Time Tests Latest UK Winner

There’s been a real Kiwi flavour to Time Test’s latest UK winner with Sir Mark Todd sending out Step Time on debut to win impressively in the UK on Monday.

Sir Mark, a trainer in Wiltshire, south-west of London, purchased the Time Test colt from the Tattersalls Gorsebridge breeze up sales last year. The 3YO made all the running in the 6 furlong contest, drawing away over the closing stages to beat the heavily priced favourite.

Last season's leading European 1st crop stallion for stakeswinners, Time Test has also made quite the impact with his oldest New Zealand progeny 2YOs this season, highlighted by the stakeswinner Leedox and been the only sire with three runners in the Karaka Million.

Time Test, who will stand for a service fee of $10,000 plus GST in 2022, arrives back at Little Avondale on   August.

History, tradition, family, good values and lots of fun. Also when we inspect an LA yearling we do so with confidence in the horses’ upbringing, soundness and temperament. It’s a theory that has worked well because with Dominic we’ve bought the likes of Redeem The Dream and the stakeswinner Sir Lovesalot
