Even in the depths of winter, Per Incanto's progeny make a habit of stepping up on the big prize money days and that was in evidence once again at Trentham on Saturday, siring a winning double amongst the five flat races held on the mostly jumping card.
Mark Oulaghan’s gelding Semper Magico led all the way to win the 1600m rating 74 event while Sylvia Kay's tough mare Fiano registered a race to race double for her sire when she took out the following race, the Open 1200m event.
In an extraordinary achievement Per Incanto’s progeny have won nearly 22.5 million New Zealand worldwide in the last two years. Recently the son of Street Cry annexed consecutive Hong Kong premierships for individual and total number of wins
Per Incanto will stand the 2022 season at a service fee of $50,000 plus GST. Any breeder considering utilising the stallion will need to be quick as there are only a handful of bookings left to fill.
