So on Saturday the Mark Oulaghan trained three-year-old assumed the uncustomary role of pacemaker in the 1400m Have Faith In Me Cup at Trentham, before sprinting off the turn to defeat Christopher Grace’s promising Beefeater, with five lengths to the third place getter.
Shadows Cast completed a 72 hour trans-Tasman treble for Per Incanto, the first two legs coming in Australia courtesy of the three-year-olds Ansaam (Per Incanto-Tanaami by Gods Own) and the LA bred Bob of The Head (Per Incanto-Ashley Downs by Grosvenor).
