A 1600m Group 3 winner at her last start in early January, promising Nadeem mare Ammirata (Nadeem -Iguana Joe by Dynaformer) was expected to need the run in her 1200m assignment on Saturday at Randwick, the last day of the three day Championship Carnival.

"I really rate her," Pride said. "I think she's most effective when she gets to the mile and there's more Group wins in her.ar-old mare finished strongly and recorded her sixth win in 12 career starts.
"She'll probably head to Hawkesbury for the Darley Crown next and then you have options at Scone and in Brisbane."
Ammirata joins a growing list of promising Nadeem mares displaying their credentials to Sydney racegoers of late. Savoureux (Nadeem-Ripe Plum by Spectrum) was a Group 3 winner last month and Lucky Can Be (Nadeem-Yes She Can Cancan) a Group 3 runner-up a fortnight later.
