Better track conditions at Ellerslie on Saturday saw the well related Vieni Su (Per Incanto-San Souci by Pins) break her maiden nicely for her owner/breeder Daniel Nakhle.
Unplaced at her first two starts on heavy tracks during the autumn, the 3YO filly relished the Ellerslie surface which despite consistent rain in the City of Sails all week allowed her to post a sub 1.12 winning time for the 1200m contest.
Vieni Su is a full sister to the smart Arrivederci, who won four of her seven career start for Daniel. Arrivederci has a yearling Proisir colt and is in foal to Super Seth.
