Covid 19 lockdowns unearthed a number of bargain buys from online sales and another of those looks to be the promising filly Miss Galore (Per Incanto-Shonda Rhymes by Volksraad) who having just her third start finished a gallant third in the (1400m) Listed HC Nitschike Stakes at Morphettville in Adelaide on Saturday.
The Michael Kent Junior and Mick Price trained filly showed a lot of early speed to clearly lead the big field of 3YO fillies from the jump before slipping clear turning for home only to be run down in the shadows of the finishing post.
Bred by LA and purchased from the 2020 Online NZB National Weanling Sale by Simon and Katrina Alexander for $2,200, the Per Incanto filly won the second of two trials on the Cambridge synthetic in May 2022 before being sold to Australian interests.
LA will present another quality draft of 14 weanlings at this year’s NZB National Weanling Sale at Karaka on 16 June.
