Per Incanto Mare Chases Railway Start

In form mare Arrivederci (Per Incanto-Sans Souci by Pins) took a step in the right direction towards securing a start in the Group 1 Sistema Railway, when, defying the noose that existed over favourites at Saturday’s Ellerslie meeting, she comfortably accounted for her Benchmark 74 opponents in the Beko Appliances 1400m.

Well ridden by Ashvin Goindasamy, the Peter and Dawn Williams trained mare put the issue beyond doubt at the 200m when unleashing what is becoming her trademark turn of foot.

Raced by her breeders Daniel and Elias Nakhle along with T Bidois, the Per Incanto mare could conceivably be unbeaten in her latest four start campaign after a luckless run at Ellerslie on October 7.

Arrivederci needs to win well again to lift her rating or gain automatic entry by winning the Hallmark Stud Stakes on Boxing Day to make the Railway field. Nonetheless her connections can look forward to plenty of exciting times ahead.

Meanwhile Trentham’s Premier meeting saw the return to the winners’ circle of the stakes winning Casaquinman (Per Incanto-Puan Silk by Towkay) who took out the 1200m rating 74 Hanley Formula Premier.

Also, on Saturday, the LA and Stephen Mercer bred Magic Mystery (Per Incanto-Da Vinci Code by Danasinga) scored over 1400m in Queensland.

History, tradition, family, good values and lots of fun. Also when we inspect an LA yearling we do so with confidence in the horses’ upbringing, soundness and temperament. It’s a theory that has worked well because with Dominic we’ve bought the likes of Redeem The Dream and the stakeswinner Sir Lovesalot
