Per Incanto : Playing With The Big Boys

Per Incanto’s progeny have increasingly been competing with Australasia's and Asia's best gallopers and at this week's Inglis Sydney Easter Yearling Sale, he has shown his ability to also mix it with the big boys in the sale ring.

Averaging a whopping $373K with a top price of $560K for the Monarch colt, which sold to the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Per Incanto found himself inside the top 10 on average for 3 or more lots sold, and the leading New Zealand-based sire.

The sale of the Monarch colt was a spectacular result for his breeders Stuart and Cherie Hope from Auckland, who just a little over two years ago, sold his full sister, the Group 1 winner Santa Monica for $600,000 at the Gold Coast Broodmare Sale.

Little Avondale expect to announce Per Incanto's service fee for the upcoming season after Easter.
