Per Incanto Treble At Hastings

Impressive first starter Glorious Beijing (Per Incanto-Summer Nymph by Danske) was the highlight of a treble for Per Incanto at Hastings on Wednesday.

Patrick Campbell’s In Another Life (Per Incanto-La Singa by Danasinga) kicked the treble away with a strong win in the R75 1400m, his second win from his last three starts.

Then Pakapunch (Per Incanto-Cancun by Flying Spur) made it a race to race double for the local trainers, leading all the way to win the maiden 1200m. Bred by Tony Rider and trained by Guy Lowry and Grant Cullen, the three-year-old filly is raced by the same syndicate who raced Group 1 Telegraph winner Irish Fling.

Glorious Beijing’s talent wasn’t any secret judging by his staring price of $2.30 and the Stephen Marsh trained and Ken Lau owned gelding justified that confidence to run out a comfortable winner of the maiden three-year-old 1300m.

Remarkably Per Incanto just missed pulling off the unique feat of siring the winners of half the card when the Murray Baker and Andrew Forsman trained Bigsie (Per Incanto-Godspell by Xaar) found only one better than him in the maiden 1400m.

Per Incanto’s latest success follows strong buyer support at the National Yearling Sale Series which finished at Karaka on Sunday, and a nice segway to the Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney which commences on Saturday. New Zealand’s leading first season sire of winners and leading sire of two-year-old stakes winners in 2014/15 has three yearlings selling as part of the Sledmere Stud draft. You can view them HERE.

A real sense of stockmanship and a love of the animal. When our mares arrive back from LA, they look like they’ve had a month at Club Med, with some of the trimmings of the buffet, but also the glow of having had the attention of a personal trainer
