An A$180,000 purchase from the Sledmere Stud draft at the 2023 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, the Little Avondale and Buzz and Susie Williams bred three-year-old colt is from the Exceed and Excel mare Urban Royale, who is also the dam of City Girl, a winner from the Andrew Forsman stable last season.
With his win, Rue De Royale takes his stake earnings to AUS $696,000.
It kept up an outstanding fortnight for Per Incanto in Australia, with eight individual winners highlighted by his exciting three-year-old Evaporate recording a hat-trick of victories with another success at Moonee Valley yesterday and he is now being aimed at this years Caulfield Guineas.
Per Incanto stood his inaugural season at Little Avondale in 2011 for a service fee of just $4000 and has since sired 400 winners from 605 starters, including 61 black type horses of which 7 are Group 1 winners.
