Rolling Magic added winning momentum to a major spring target when he was successful at Rosehill.
The LA-born and reared son of Per Incanto successfully resumed over 1300 metres and all roads now lead to the A$2 million The Big Dance at Randwick on November 3.
“That’s where we’re heading with him. To be fair, he’s returned in better order than his trials might have shown,” co-trainer Will Freedman said.
“He’s actually been a fairly consistent horse without winning for the back half of his last preparation. He’s come back in super order.”
