Star Performance at Te Rapa

LA graduate Tristar has made her presence felt in open class company with success over 1200 metres at Te Rapa.

The Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott-trained daughter of Exceedance is now a five-time winner and a stakes performer in waiting. “She likes the track with some cut in it, and we would love to get her some black type, so she will have a go at the Listed race for the fillies and mares at Tauranga in a fortnight,” Scott said.

She was purchased out of LA’s draft at New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale for $220,000 and is is raced and owned by Sir Trevor Clarke, Mrs AJ Croad, A Cuttance, B R Jary, C B Jones, D Lye, A & C Marshall & C Weaver. She is a half-sister to stablemate and G3 Rotorua Stakes winner Karman Line.

Their dam is the Pierro mare World Away who is currently in foal to exciting young resident sire Little Brose.
