Strong Book 1 Finish by LA and Per Incanto

Book 1 of the NZB National Yearling Sales concluded at Karaka yesterday with all three of LA’s lots realising six figure sales.

Pete and Christine Algie enjoyed an excellent result with the sale of their Darci Brahma half sister to Jacksstar realising 135k and Per Incanto completed an outstanding four days when LA’s last Book 1 lot, the colt from Tsukioka, was bought by Ascot Farm for 150k.

Per Incanto’s seventh place position - behind only Savabeel and Tavistock as far as domestic stallions are concerned  - on the Book 1 sire averages with 12 yearlings sold at a 160k average . It’s testimony to the increasing respect both domestic and international buyers have for the son of Street Cry.

Book 2 gets underway today at 11am.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to all the team at Little Avondale for doing another amazing job looking after my mare and bringing her precious foal safely into the world. Always such a relief knowing they will have the best of care with you!
