Sweet Smile is loving life back in New Zealand with Jenna Mahoney and made it two wins, with a runner-up finish in between times, since his return when successful at Ellerslie.
LA bred the son of Time Test who was sold at Karaka for $100,000 and won two trials from Mahoney’s stable before a stint in Hong Kong where he placed from a handful of starts.
“He’s a really honest horse and tries his best every time goes out, he’s doing a really good job for us now he’s back,” she said.
Sweet Smile is a son of the imported Singspiel mare Bella Rosalia whose four foals to race have all been successful and includes G3 Counties Cup runner-up Strolling Vagabond.
