Sydney Easter Results

Our decision to keep supporting the Inglis Sydney Easter Yearling Sales was again vindicated with another well-received draft at the Newmarket salegrounds last week.

Emirates Park, owners of Golden Slipper winner Mossfun, purchased our Pins - Kumari filly for Aus $410,000. LA bred the filly in partnership with JML Bloodstock and Barlow Thoroughbreds.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club signed the sales docket at Aus $300,000 for the Stratum colt from Sound Lover's daughter Bellabaci, her first foal and

leading Melbourne trainer Danny O'Brien bought the Makfi half brother to dual Group 3 winning Nadeem mare Sharnee Rose for Aus $200,000.

Towkay had another successful week with the John and Mark Carter bred Shadow Player (Towkay-La Grandezza by Flying Spur) rewarded for her consistency with a nice win at Trentham on Saturday over 1400m, while Hurikin (Towkay-Hurricane Fashion by Hurricane Sky) made it back to back wins with his success over 1400m at Wingatui on Friday.

The spotlight this weekend is the Aus 1 million Group 1 Queen of the Turf Stakes at Randwick, which sees Towkay's grand mare Viadana (Towkay-Yeah Nah by Kinjite) make her Australian debut against the cream of Australia's best female mile talent, including Sharnee Rose (Nadeem - Farasha by Jeune).
