THREE Per Incanto Winners in Asia on Sunday

Talented 3YO Classic Unicorn (Per Incanto-Grace and Eva by Stravinsky) was part of a winning treble for his sire in Asia on Sunday as he again had too much speed for his opponents,  scorching over the Sha Tin 1000m course in a blistering 55.09.

A brilliant first-up winner in Hong Kong earlier last month, the Tony So trained galloper was only .39 seconds outside the course record set by seven time Group 1 winner Sacred Kingdom in 2007. Only three horses have ever broken the magical 55 seconds mark in Hong Kong.

Bred by Viv and Ralph Fauvel, Suzie and Buzz Williams and LA, Classic Unicorn was a $40,000 purchase by Ric Wylie Bloodstock from LA’s 2017 Karaka Select draft.

Star Performance (Per Incanto-Star Guest by Pentire), 4th in the Group 2 Hawkes Bay Guineas this season, made a winning Hong Kong debut when taking a Class 3 1400m on the same card, while in Singapore, 3YO Per Inpower (Per Incanto-Saint She Ain’t by Kinjite) scored over 1400m.

History, tradition, family, good values and lots of fun. Also when we inspect an LA yearling we do so with confidence in the horses’ upbringing, soundness and temperament. It’s a theory that has worked well because with Dominic we’ve bought the likes of Redeem The Dream and the stakeswinner Sir Lovesalot
