Day 2 of Book 1 of the NZB National Yearling Sales has seen strong buyer interest in the progeny of freshman sire Time Test.
Mapperley Stud, a shareholder in the stallion, sold their Time Test – Bella Carolina colt (pictured) for $220,000 to Bruce Perry while later in the session, Andrew Forsman partnered-up with Ben Kwok to purchase LA’s Time Test – Eloa filly for $130,000.
The Savabeel – Cruz Control colt bought LA’s top price for day 2 with Bruce Perry signing the docket for $160,000.
Bruce Perry also signed for LA’s second best price for second day, outlaying $140,000 for the Per Incanto filly from the More Than Ready mare Exposed.
Demand for Per Incanto’s progeny continued throughout the second day, with a further two sales to Hong Kong, including the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s purchase of the colt from Smart Missile mare Amanjena for $200,000. Per Incanto, who is currently averaging an extremely healthy $118k for eight sold, has some feature lots selling on the third and final day of Book 1 tomorrow, including the Lakshimi filly from the LA draft and the colt from Miss Bluebell, which makes him a half brother to Saturday’s beaten Karaka Millions favourite Milleflori.
