Time Test Roll Continues

It's a thrill to see some of Time Test’s most passionate supporters getting rewarded for their faith in the exciting young stallion, with Manawatu breeder and veterinarian John O'Brien(pictured) , a shareholder in the son of Dubawi, enjoying an exciting 48 hours this week.

At the Woodville trials on Tuesday, Wanganui trainer Hamish Auret lined up an unnamed Time Test – Miss Centrefold gelding for a most impressive win in the 2YO catch weight trial, with another of Time Test’s progeny, the unraced Shabura Shama finishing second. The following day at the New Plymouth saw in form trainer Robbie Patterson produce the 1st starter Times Up (Time Test – Miss Centrefold by Gold Centre) for a stylish win at his race day debut over 1100m.

The full brothers were both bred by John O'Brien from his 3-time winning mare Miss Centrefold. John has retained ownership of Times Up.

Interviewed post-race Robbie Patterson advised that the gelding was under offer to Australia however if a sale doesn't eventuate, he will set the exciting 3YO for the Group 2 Wellington Guineas.

Also on Thursday, but in South Australia, the former Lance O'Sullivan and Andrew Scott trained Time Ruler, a runner in this years Karaka Million, scored over 1400m.

 

Time Test, who had another winner this week, a 2YO filly in France, has 40 yearlings catalogued for the NZB Karaka Sale which begins on 29 January.
