It’s TIME TEST TUESDAY where we showcase one of the outstanding line-up of Time Test yearlings in LA’s draft for Karaka.

Lot 704, the Time Test-Yemanya filly is built and bred to run early and quickly. Mum won three at 1200m and this filly is quite some first foal: short coupled, well balanced and athletic, she’s always keen to please.

It’s a family laden with 2YO speed. Yemanya’s full brother Rocanto was a stakes winning juvenile who was twice Group 1 placed at the same age and their dam is a half-sister to the mother of Australian Group 1 winning two-year-old Reigning to Win.

Remember Time Test won his only start at two and his mother Passage of Time was a Group 1 winning 2YO and going by the physicality of his yearlings they could well come to hand earlier than many of us originally thought. The good thing too is he’s throwing plenty of leg which is important for their development.
