Welcome to Time Test Tuesday, each Tuesday we’ll be profiling one of the seven Time Test yearlings catalogued for sale by LA at Karaka.
Lot 626 in Book 2, the colt from the three-win Towkay mare Rorippa is comfortably the mare’s best foal to date and a real example of the quality Time Test imparts.
A very physical, precocious looking horse with excellent bone and muscle. He’s got a great constitution and don’t be surprised to see him line-up in the Karaka Million in 2022
Rorippa’s first foal is a winner in Australia last season and her second foal, Perfect Posy by Per Incanto, is in work with Bryce Newman. This is the outstanding family of Group 1 winners Planet Rock and Mississippi Burning, VRC Derby runner-up and sire Gorky Park and the stakes winners Ringo and Galroof.
Just 40 days now from Time Test’s Karaka debut. We can’t wait! Next Tuesday we check out a filly who looks like she’ll fly
