Bourbonaire and Bonham (Per Incanto) have already proven themselves amongst the best of their age group and lightly raced filly Whimsical (Savabeel-Chanel’s Choice by Redoute’s Choice) announced herself as another quality performer from LA’s 2019 Karaka Book 1 draft with her win in the Group 3 Eulogy Stakes at Awapuni on Saturday.
Purchased for $240,000 by bloodstock agent Bruce Perry, Whimsical races in the colours of leading owner Lib Petagna who shares in the ownership with Dame Lowell Goddard.
Whimsical was bred by M Everett, N Hoar and J Jackson. Chanel’s Choice has an outstanding Per Incanto filly at foot and was served by Ocean Park.
