Only two weeks until the debut of Time Test’s first SH sale yearling, a colt at Magic Millions from an Australian Group 3 winning 2YO. Our Karaka countdown is well and truly on and this week for Time Test Tuesday we’ve got the ‘sleeper’ of our entire Karaka draft.
From the stakes producing mare Lutine Belle, a daughter of Champion Broodmare sire O’Reilly, this girl who is LOT 873 in Book 2 has only been with us for a little over a month but we swear she’s another cm taller each morning when she’s waiting intently at the box door for her tucker.
Mum’s first foal is the dual stakes placed Cutting Up Rough and her second foal was the speedy three win mare Carrillion. Her third foal, Wood On Fire, won in Hong Kong just before Xmas. This is the excellent Te Parae family tracing back to the NZ Broodmare of the Year Sunbride and responsible for Caulfield Guineas winner Grand Cidium and the multiple Derby winner Dayana.
Typical of the Time Tests, this girl walks with a swagger and purpose. You may have to wait a bit for her but she’ll be worth it.
