Great Start Continues

12 winners in 12 days last month was an accomplishment however Per Incanto has started 2021 like he means to run that down with eight winners in the first three days of the New Year, including a double in Singapore last night, the second leg of which had a poignant touch for the farm.

Stuart and Cherie Hope’s broodmare Monarch has well and truly “clicked” with Per Incanto, producing the Group 1 Railway winner Santa Monica, sold earlier this year for $600k Aus, and her full brother Monaco who has won $150k  and started in this years edition of the time honoured sprint. Their younger sibling Montana Mist broke her maiden over 1000m at Te Aroha yesterday.

Per Incrown who raced locally from Grant Cullen and Guy Lowrey’s stable as Foggy Little broke through for his first win in Singapore, over 1600m. Later in the programme, Vulcan, stormed home to win a Class 4 over 1100m. The Per Incanto 5YO was bred by LA’s loyal client and friend Don Gordon who sadly passed away in December.
