Top Sale Comes To Close

The six-figure sale of a daughter of Ardrossan successfully brought the curtain down on LA’s business at New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale.

The Wairarapa farm enjoyed excellent trade through Books 1 and 2 and its quartet of Summer Sae offerings all found good homes.

Their top-priced entry was Lot 980, a filly by Ardrossan out of the unraced Per Incanto mare La Sartiglia who was secured for $105,000 by Paul Moroney Bloodstock and Catheryne Bruggeman.

They also purchased Lot 895, going to $65,000 for the Armory colt who is a grandson of the G1 New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Stakes winner Surprize Surprize.

History, tradition, family, good values and lots of fun. Also when we inspect an LA yearling we do so with confidence in the horses’ upbringing, soundness and temperament. It’s a theory that has worked well because with Dominic we’ve bought the likes of Redeem The Dream and the stakeswinner Sir Lovesalot
