Time Test Colt Wins Again

An impressive winner over a mile on debut, 3YO Okeechobee (Time Test-Scuffle by Daylami) again showed an exciting turn of foot when successful over 1900m in the UK on Saturday. The Juddmonte bred and owned colt takes his tally to two wins and a second.

Meanwhile the Per Incanto pair of Castilian and Roch ‘N’ Horse lost little caste in their performances at Moonee Valley on Saturday.

Inexperienced three-year-old Castilian wobbled around the home turn like a drunken sailor but once balanced, found the line strongly to be beaten a nose in the age group 1500m event.

Group 1 Newmarket Handicap winner Roch ‘N’ Horse was resuming and also wasn’t at home on the tight track yet still ran home for fourth in the 1000m Listed Carlyon Stakes.

Per Incanto still kept up his increasingly regular routine of siring a Saturday Australian metropolitan winner when the Gangemi trained Mercanto (Per Incanto-Medrano by General Nediym) won over 1200m in Perth. The Haunui bred 5YO has now won seven times from 19 career starts, for stake earnings just shy of AUS $250k.
