Time Test Impressive Debut Winner

Time Test’s productive start to the month continued in NZ on Friday with the Brain Anderton trained 3YO filly Elsie May (Time Test- Rosaeflora by Zacinto), scoring impressively on debut at Wingatui, with another Time Test filly, Miranda Miss, running a close third.

Bred by Kevin Hickman, who supported Time Test so fervently, Elsie May sat three wide throughout the 840m contest but still finished powerfully to run down the leaders late.

Earlier in the week, the 3YO La Yakel (Time Test- Teebee’s Oasis by Oasis Dream) franked a four-length success at his previous start to win a $100k 2400m contest at Ascot in the UK. La Yakel was Time Test’s third European winner in the space of three days.

Leading European first season sire last year for black type winners, Time Test still has a few spots left in his 2022 LA SH book, where his service fee is $10,000 plus GST.

Time Test, whose oldest NZ progeny have just turned three, is likely to have the stakes winning 2YO Leedox and the Karaka Million 4th place getter Time Flies representing him in the Group 2 Hawkes Bay Guineas next month
