This weeks’ Time Test Thursday horse is the homebred, Eyegeegee (Time Test-Savamour by Savabeel), who created quite the impression when he won his only start, at Hastings, back in July.
Slowly away Eyegeegee had a stack of ground to make up on the leaders half way down the Hastings straight but roared home in the style of a horse looking for considerably further than the 1200m of his maiden win.
Trainer Guy Lowry has taken his time with the four-year-old, who is down to start at his home track this Saturday, the first day of the Tremains Hawkes Bay Spring Carnival.
Eyegeegee is a half brother to the dual stakes winning mare Belluci Babe, who earnt in excess of $500k AUS.
Look for Eyegeegee to work his way through the classes this season especially after Xmas and through autumn.
