Fresh from leaving his 19th stakes winner, Nadeem sired a winning double at Awapuni on Friday.
Former 2000 Thousand Guineas place getter Sir Nate (Nadeem- by No Excuse Needed) may have earned himself a shot at some of the CD summer Cups races after the Brown and Fusion Thoroughbreds bred five-year-old made a winning debut over ground with his win in the 2100m Café Cuba/Harcourts Manawatu Team Realty Open Handicap.
Earlier on the card, the Helen Phinney bred Wild Moose (Nadeem- Barrelfiftyone by Savabeel) made a winning debut when he led all the way to win the 1200m Bramco Granite and Marble/Fielding Flooring Xtra three-year-old maiden. Wild Moose and Sir Nate are both trained by Lisa Latta.
