The Bryce Newman-trained Bee Precious (NZ) (Per Incanto {USA}) finished her last campaign with a win on the Awapuni Synthetic track over 1200 metres in July, and she showed she had come back bigger and better as a 6-year-old mare with a trial win at Foxton over 850 metres a couple of weeks ago.
She went one better on Sunday with a dominant victory by just over a length and a half at Trentham in R65 grade over 1200 metres, which brought up a winning double for Per Incanto (USA) at the meeting.
Bee Precious is one of two winners out of the unraced O’Reilly (NZ) mare The Beeliner (NZ), who is a daughter of the Listed Southland Guineas winner The Beekeeper (NZ) (Keeper).
The Beeliners other winner is Bee Enchanted (NZ) who is also by Per Incanto and has been a five-time winner up to 1200 metres
