The final day of a very successful NZB 98TH National Yearling Sale at Karaka ended strongly for the farm as Book 2 concluded on Friday afternoon.
Victorian trainer Tony Noonan purchased the Strasbourg-Uncovered Beauty colt for $90,000, while LA’s office manager Kirsty Percy and daughter Morgan sold a Banquo colt for $41k. They bought the mare War Piglet off Gavelhouse for $1000 in foal in 2022. He was born at LA, reared on Morgans property and finished at LA.

Rounding out the final day were the sales of a Belardo colt on behalf of Trelawney, and a Time Test filly for $30k to leading South Island trainer Andrew Carston who trains the very progressive Time Test stayer Jon Ol Rocco.
Time Test proved extremely popular across Book 2, siring the Sales top priced colt for $220,000 and another colt for $120k.
Next up for LA is the Inglis Classic Sale at Riverside in Sydney on 11-13 February, where the farm has three Per Incanto yearlings, one by Time Test and a cracking Tivaci colt to sell.
