Per Incanto Mare Impressive in Flemington Win
Per Incanto has started 2021 in style with a treble of wins on the major tracks of Australasia and Hong Kong.
Roch N Horse started New Years Day proceedings with her win in front of delighted connections at Ellerslie before Hasstobegood was emphatic at Flemington, winning by nearly four lengths over 1400m.
Charity Grace rounded out the day winning over 1400m at Sha Tin on their big New Years Day card. For good measure Per Incanto narrowly missed another brace of Hong Kong wins when the John O’Brien bred Triple Triple was just touched off over 1400m.
Hasstobegood, who was purchased by Australian Bloodstock after her third placing in last seasons Karaka Mile behind Probabeel, continues the good run for Fairdale Stud who also bred Boxing Day stakes winner Brando.
Per Incanto, who currently sits fourth on the HK sires premiership and leads their premiership for individual winners, will be represented by 21 yearlings in Karaka Book 1 and 10 in Book 2.
