Per Incanto Mare Wins in Sydney

Progressive Per Incanto mare Prima Bella (Per Incanto – Bra Spring by Darci Brahma) continued her winning ways when successful over 1000m at Warwick farm last week.

A $320,000 purchase from the Sledmere stud draft at the 2022 Inglis Classic Sale, the LA bred mare has had 7 career starts for 4 wins and one minor placing.

Prima Bella’s standing amongst the ranks of Sydney's intermediate grade sprinting mares gets more credibility given that she defeated the recent impressive Melbourne stakes winner Inflight, when they both made their debuts at Wyong in November 2023.

Time Test had an excellent last season domestically, but he has also been doing well over the Tasman. In fact, he has two mares who are undefeated in nine starts between them, with one of those Without Approval registering her fourth victory when a most impressive winner over 1200m at Rosehill on Saturday.

The other mare is the Victorian trained 5-year-old mare Proved who has won twice in Melbourne amongst her five career wins.

Two exceptional young people putting a lot into racing and other important things outside racing
