After providing the top priced lot on Day 1 of the Book 2 Sale, Per Incanto again provided plenty of fireworks on Day 2.

LA’s three Per Incanto Day 2 youngsters grossed $185k with the colt from Darci Brahma mare Sicilliani making $75k. Christopher Grace’s Waimiha colt joined a large number of Per Incanto colts going to Hong Kong from this Sale following his purchase by Upper Bloodstock.

Per Incanto currently leads the Book 2 averages for three lots or more sold by non-first season sires.

Leading price for an LA lot on Day 2 belonged to the Real Impact-Vienna Lady colt who sold for $85,000 to Danny Walker.

There’s every chance the strapping Real Impact colt will end-up in Hong Kong where connections will he hoping he’s in the same league as Danny’s last LA Karaka purchase, the Pete and Christine Algie bred Star Performance (Per Incanto-Star Guest by Pentire) who warmed-up for his main aim the Hong Kong Derby with a 5th placing in the Hong Kong Classic Mile on Sunday.

The third and final day of Book 2 commences at 11am today.

First and foremost, stockman and people whose interest in the animal translates into an innate ability to read how a horse will develop.
