Per Incanto mare Prima Bella looks set for a lucrative campaign following the Per Incanto mare’s successful return in trying conditions at Randwick.
The Matthew Smith-trained LA graduate made the running over 1000 metres and rallied strongly after being headed in the straight score under rider Ashley Morgan. “She was nice and fit, she’s very genuine and doing a great job,” Smith said.
Prima Bella was sold on LA’s behalf by Sledmere Stud at the Inglis Classic Sale for A$320,000 and now owns the tidy record of five wins and two placings from 10 appearances.
The five-year-old is a daughter of the Darci Brahma mare Brah Spring, who was successful on seven occasions up to 1600 metres, and from the potent Group-winning family late stud resident Nadeem, Evaporate, Belluci Babe, Philosophe.
